4th of July Pet Safety Tips

The July 4th holiday is coming soon!  Are you prepared to keep your patriotic pets healthy and happy while you celebrate with backyard barbecues and fireworks displays?  Here’s a great infographic with some key reminders to help keep your dogs and cats safe during the 4th of July…and all summer long.  There’s still time to talk to your vet about microchipping and ways to relieve your pet’s anxiety before the fireworks start!

  1. My least favorite ‘howliday.’ The neighbors have already been put on notice about the illegal fireworks they have been setting off already. Someone turned them in to the pawlice because they were so loud. I applauded the snitcher. 😇

  2. Thanks for posting this great information! I am curious- what are your thoughts on the Thundershirt? or Anxiety jackets for dogs in general? Are they effective?
    Would you recommend this for anxiety prone dogs during the 4th and any other loud event? Any feedback would be great!
