This bright-eyed kitty is Tuchina! Tuchina’s mom is a graduate student who adopted her from a cat café in 2020. Besides being a beloved pet, she is also her emotional support animal.
Tuchina developed a life-threatening urinary blockage, one of the most common feline health emergencies we see at FACE. She required surgery but as a student, Tuchina’s mom’s funds were limited, and she needed a little extra help.
Thanks to a FACE grant, Tuchina was able to get her urgent surgery and is now doing well.
