FREE PUPPIES! is the title of a new documentary film that follows a dedicated group of people who work to rescue and rehome the many stray dogs in the American South.
The reasons for the large numbers of homeless pets in the South are complex, as a piece on the film in the New York Times notes. In some rural areas, there are insufficient community resources like animal shelters. Pet owners may also suffer from a lack of knowledge or financial resources to properly care for their pets, such as when unaltered dogs are allowed to roam and reproduce.
You can check out the film’s website here. FREE PUPPIES! is available on DVD and Apple TV. Watch the trailer below:
Thanks for the link!
You’re welcome, haven’t seen the full movie yet but it looks really interesting!
Thank you 🌷 I will take the time to see it on Youtube.
You’re welcome, it looks very good.
Aww, little Albert-what a two-legged cutie. I’ll have to keep my eyes open for that film. Thanks for sharing that video.
Looking forward to seeing the whole thing too. Apple TV is one of the services I don’t have, LOL.
Me either. There are just too many streaming services to keep up on, much less pay for, aren’t there? 😆
YES!!
