Tucker is a sweet 11-year-old rescue dog. This past summer he was undergoing chemotherapy for lymphoma when he accidentally ingested a foreign body that got stuck in his gastrointestinal tract.
Poor Tucker needed emergency veterinary care to remove the obstruction, but the cost of his chemotherapy treatment made it hard for his mom to afford this additional urgent procedure. Luckily his mom was referred to FACE and we were able to provide financial assistance to help save Tucker!
Thank you for helping Tucker and others!
Thank you! ❤
One look at Tucker makes you want to head straight for the treat jar.
Yes, no doubt he is a very good boy!!
YAY!!!
❤
Aww, Tucker has such a sweet face-glad you were able to help his family out. Having been there with those obstruction surgeries, I know all too well the expense involved. Bless you guys to helping Tucker’s family. Happy New Year.
Yes, it is a very common veterinary emergency isn’t it? We’re glad we were able to help Tucker and his mom out too. Happy New Year!
More common than I care to ‘enjoy.’ I took out some equity from my house to pay for Norman’s second obstruction.
Oh my goodness! We had a close call when our cat ingested dental floss from the wastebasket (no more unlidded ones in this house!).
It’s like having to baby-proof everything when you have pets.
Indeed!
