Meet Firsties! This handsome Chihuahua took a bad spill when he wiggled right out of his owner’s arms and ended up breaking one of his tiny legs. His “mom,” a single woman working two jobs to make ends meet, was so sad when she realized she wouldn’t be able to afford Firsties’ emergency surgery. Firsties came into her life unexpectedly, and she fell in love with him right away. The thought of losing him was heartbreaking. She reached out to as many friends and family members she could in an effort to raise the money for his surgery, but it wasn’t enough to cover the full cost. Luckily, Bodhi Veterinary Clinic and Animal Hospital referred her to FACE, who with their help was able to assist with Firsties’ surgery. Special thanks to FACE Life Sponsor Bodhi Veterinary Clinic for helping to save Firsties.
Meet Lulu! This rambunctious pup got too excited chasing a lizard one day and fractured her little leg running. Meet Chica! This little girl needed surgery immediately after being diagnosed with Pyometra, a severe infection of the uterus that if left untreated can be fatal. After finding out how much her surgery would cost, her owner was devastated when he realized he could not afford it. Luckily, he contacted FACE who with the help of Care and Comfort Veterinary Hospital was able to help fund for Chica’s emergency surgery. Special thanks to FACE Life Sponsors Howard Finkelstein and Lorin Legrant for helping to save Chica.
Meet Snowball! After this adorable Chihuahua mix took an accidental tumble off the bed, he was left with a leg break that needed to be surgically repaired ASAP to save his leg. Although his “dad” could afford some of the surgery, the entire cost was not feasible for him and his family of five. Luckily, ABC VETERINARY HOSPITAL referred him to FACE, and together we were able to help get Snowball’s leg treated. Special thanks to FACE Life Sponsor Howard Finkelstein for helping to save Snowball.
Meet “Bacon!” This adorable two year old Chihuahua mix took a bad fall after jumping out of her owner’s arms. Her owner, a single mother of one, was devastated to find out that Bacon’s leg had been fractured and needed surgery to be repaired. After spending all that she could afford on Bacon, she turned to FACE for assistance. Luckily, with the help of Veterinary Specialty Hospital, FACE was able to help Bacon get the surgery she needed.
