The 5 A’s Animal Shelter in Godfrey, Illinois was home to a 14 year old Pitbull mix named Wiggles for 11 years. Her long stay at the shelter came to an end recently, when a couple from Missouri read a story about Wiggles and decided to give this sweet pup a home.
The couple had dogs previously and were eager to provide this senior dog with a comfortable home and big fenced in backyard.
Staff and volunteers at the shelter were sad to see Wiggles gone, but grateful she found a real home. Her new owners report that she is doing well and enjoys walking on leash around her new neighborhood and is getting along well with other dogs she meets on her walks.
